Mamahood

I engage in babywearing on a daily basis, meaning that I carry my son in a baby carrier practically everywhere we go. I love wearing him–it makes life so much easier. Except there’s a new “trend” going on. Now, everywhere I go people proclaim, “Big baby! He’s almost as big as you!”

I’m fairly laid-back and tolerant–but hearing strangers tell me this nine times a day gets a little old. And irritating. I know, it’s not their fault. He’s a big baby and I’m a small woman. I just wish there was some more originality out there. Tell me something new! I have no idea how to respond to this anymore without getting snarky…

Come on, people, haven’t you figured that I heard this before!
